Vertical lathe operator

We are looking for a professional vertical lathe operator for a permanent employment relationship in Raahe on behalf of our client.

Job description: The carousel lathe operator is responsible for machining large pieces using Siemens Sinumerik and Fanuc control systems. We are looking for an experienced professional with strong programming skills and experience in handling and fixing large pieces.

We expect from you:

– Previous experience with CNC vertical lathes (training in the field is considered an advantage)

– Programming skills and knowledge of Siemens controls

– Literacy in technical drawings

– Experience in the single and/or small series production of large pieces

– Willingness to perform shift work

– Ability to work independently

– Ability to function well with different kinds of people

– Good Finnish or English language skills
