A good application is clear and accurately completed. The application shows your educational background and the work history relevant to the position you are applying for. If you wish, you can also attach your CV or cover letter to the application for support. Tell us why you want to apply for this particular position and why you would be a good choice for it.

If the job advertisement specifically mentions the contact information of the person who provides additional information, you can contact them directly. The contact person will answer additional questions but will not accept applications.

Yes, we always recommend that you specify your application for each job.

We will invite the most suitable applicants to an interview by phone or email. We will inform all applicants of the progress of the application process by email.

You can request that your email address be corrected in our system by sending an email to helsinki@sol.fi. In the message, mention your first and last name and the phone number you put in your application, so that we can find your application more easily and correct the information. 

To work in Finland, you will need a valid official identity card, a Finnish personal identity code, a Finnish bank account and a tax card. Read more on the Tax Administration’s website: Work in Finland and the Finnish Immigration Service’s website: Right to work in Finland.

If Finnish language skills are necessary for the performance of the job, the language proficiency requirement has already been mentioned in the job advertisement. Even if most of our job advertisements are in Finnish, you can also fill in the application form in English.
